Meagan was born and raised in Rochester, NY where she was constantly around arts and crafts. Her mother made jewelry and wove baskets before she bought an ice cream parlor & cafe in 2001. In her junior year of high school Meagan took her first ceramics class. Realizing her gravitation towards creating three-dimensional artwork she chose to pursue ceramics in college at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH. She Graduated from NHIA in 2016 with a BFA in Ceramics and a minor in Art History.

Meagan is now Ceramics Administrator at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, where she teaches ceramics, basketry, and multimedia classes from children to adults. Meagan hopes to continue her studies with a graduate degree in a few years.
